As you all probably know, Intel runs its annual Science Talent Search, this year with a field of over 1580 students. Out of those 1580 students, one of my best friends, Sauhard Sahi, won the honor of Semifinalist, as he looks to make it to the next round. He is one of only three hundred people. Not only did he get $1000, the school also received a $1000. The finalist results will release tomorrow
The Maiden Voyage: My take on the Super Bowl January 24, 2006

It certainly wasn’t the matchup that I was hoping to see. But nevertheless, it will take place, whether we believe it or not. All that running and sweating and “tiring” is all a waste for most NFL players, as the 32 teams have become two in this great stage of “glory.”
The Pittsburgh Steelers are definitely a team to be reckoned with. As Ben Roethlisberger and Troy Polamalu (Sorry if I spelled it wrong Troy) lead their respective sides of the ball, they must worry about the disputed NFL MVP, Shaun Alexander. A week after a concussion, Alexander busts it with 34 carries for 132 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the four yard average, what else could a coach fear. The Steelers will step up as they have the whole playoffs. If Alexander however doesn’t do well, the Seahawks hopefully will have a plan B. Because, w/out Alexander, the Seahawks are insignificant on the field. The Seattle defense will have to step up as Ben Roethlisberger is finally coming “into his own” as he played extremely well these playoffs. Matt Hasselback, despite being selected to the Pro Bowl, hasn’t really showed that he belongs there. He hasn’t led the team. Hopefully he can prove something. This game is an easy decision.
“Dr. Y’s” Predictions:
31 – 11, Steelers over Seahawks
