The Trillian Revolution February 27, 2006

As I was chatting with my friend the other night, I came across this really cool messanger program. No it wasn’t another AIM with a different email server, or another email client. Its name is Trillian. One of the greatest messaging softwares I’ve ever seen, I believe it might be one of the hottest products of 2006. Not only does it create separate messanging accounts for Yahoo, AIM, MSN, and other Trillian-supported messanging programs, but it has a very user friendly environment. In its options menu it carries many colorful tabs, and really makes it easy for those computer illiterrates. It easily allows users to manage all their different messanging accounts . Moreover, it is awesome.
To get Trillian, go to www.download.com and search for Trillian 3.1 – the latest version, I’m not kidding it is very good

Today, President Bush handed out his annual National Technology Award to people who contributed greatly to the fields of Science and Technology. Established by Congress in 1959, the National Science Foundation picks the recipients. President Bush stated, “”The spirit of discovery is one of our national strengths,” at the ceremony in front of White House’s East Room. He continued to say, “Our greatest resource has always been the educated, hardworking, ambitious people who call this country their home.” IBM came out on top as a company to win this award. IBM, as you all probably know is one of the world’s top computer, data storage, and internet technology companies.

Michelle Kwan’s Exit: Is it overblown? February 13, 2006

As I find myself watching the olympics and ESPN almost all the time, I see one glaring headline: KWAN OUT OF OLYMPICS, DOESN’T SPECULATE ON RETIREMENT. All of a sudden I feel a brain impulse (it happens a lot): Why does everyone care so much. Don’t get me wrong here, I love Michelle Kwan. She’s always been my favorite skater by far. But, when the Olympics relates to teamwork and nationalism, people are downright depressed with Kwan’s exit. I won’t say it’s unwarranted but I would still stress get back on track. There are a lot more interesting story lines than Kwan. To start with the US Women’s Ice Hocky Team is in the semifinals and are trying to advance. Bode Miller only finished 5th, to my dismay, after all his fanfare. we had a peculiar gold finish in 5000 meter Speed Skating by Hendrick. The list is only getting better. Whatever you are rooting for, lay off of the exit of Kwan. It only takes away from what the games stand for.
By the way, if any of you are missing out on all of this action, watch the NBC networks (NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, etc..) and USA Network (Trust me, you’re not the only one)
